Camaiore

Camaiore is a town in the province of Lucca, among the largest of all Versilia. The landscape is characterized by Beach Lido di Camaiore, to the mountains of the Alps as Prana, Matanna, Gabberi and all the hills more or less high. Not to overlook is the plain of capezzanese, made famous for growing flowers or nursery industry in general, or part of the seafront lidese, Riviera most interesting of all rivers versiliesi. The origin of the site are linked to those Roman, it was the largest camp areas surrounding lucca. The name derives from this feature, "Campus Maior" or Campo Major transformed over time in Camaiore.
